Anne S. Hale, DVM
Anne S. Hale is a renowned expert in veterinary transfusion medicine. Dr. Hale has a strong academic track record and has received a NIH Comparative Fellowship in Transfusion Medicine. Dr. Hale founded and guided Midwest Animal Blood Services, an internationally known blood bank. She worked as the CEO and Director for Animal Blood Resources International while the company launched a new line of lyophilized blood products. Dr. Hale is currently CSO of The Platelet Farm, managing the research and commercialization of veterinary blood products (included freeze-dried equine platelet lysate). In addition, Dr. Hale held a position as an internist at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialist Centers in New Mexico before joining BodeVet. Dr. Hale is a founding member of the American Association of Veterinary Blood Banks, and is an active member of many other like organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the North American Veterinary Regenerative Medicine Association, and the Association of Veterinary Hematology and Transfusion Medicine. Dr. Hale is also an advisor for The Pet Blood UK.

Rafael Jorda
Mr. Jorda has extensive experience in the life sciences industry as a scientist and business leader. For more than 25 years, he has managed the research and development, production, intellectual property, and business development operations within both pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Mr. Jorda is a co-founder of Flamel Technologies. He led the company’s research and manufacturing operations, helping take Flamel public in 1996. Mr. Jorda also worked in the polymer research group of Rhône-Poulenc. In research, he has focused chiefly on developing technologies based on nano- and microparticles for targeted oral and injectable drug delivery systems. Mr. Jorda holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech for which he wrote his thesis on biodegradable polymers. He also received a Master of Science in Chemistry from ENSCM, University of Montpellier (France).

Robert Woods
Robert Woods joins BodeVet with experience from serving as the Operations Manager for Cellphire, Inc. He controls all of Cellphire’s human resources, information technology, exposure control plan, corporate equity, and facilities operations. Robert Woods first joined Cellphire to assist in the implementation of government contracts after having managed government contracts with Holloway & Co. using a custom data repository. Previously, Robert Woods worked as a Transportation Broker for MegaCorp Logistics, and was part of the leading sales team for their logistics division for two years. Robert Woods holds a BA from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in Business Management and Communication Studies. He is currently pursuing Executive Leadership and Human Resource Management at Cornell University.

Jessica (Jessie) Brown, LVT
Jessie brings over 15 years of veterinary technical experience in specialty and emergency clinics, plus management and operational experience in creating and running a regional veterinary blood bank. Her hands-on skills and understanding of the needs for blood and blood products in veterinary practice enhance the technical capabilities of BodeVet. Jessie holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina, and has research experience with dogs and sea turtles.

Tracy Gross
Tracy Gross brings more than a decade of experience in customer relations, management, and operations to BodeVet. While serving as a Branch Manager at PNC Bank and Bank of America, Tracy Gross led and offered management training to teams of over 15 associates to effect in achieving branch goals. At PNC Bank, Ms. Gross exceeded monthly goals. Ms. Gross developed and enforced rigorous customer service standards which emphasized providing specific attention and detail to customers on an individual basis.

Jennifer Kishbaugh, DVM
Jennifer Kishbaugh is a full time Clinical Research Associate at BodeVet, Inc. with a specialty interest in transfusion medicine applications to zoo and wild animal health management. As a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Kishbaugh has directed her veterinary career towards wildlife conservation medicine. Her research experience includes conservation projects with the St. Kitts Sea Turtle Monitoring Network, studying the movement of viral diseases in bat populations in Myanmar, and developing freeze-dried blood products to target EEHV-HD in Asian elephants. Her current focus is on expanding transfusion medicine capabilities, and applications in veterinary medicine with emphasis on providing training and educational resources for captive wildlife and zoological species.

Alex Willard
Alex Willard joins the BodeVet team after five years of various operational roles and experience at Cellphire, Inc. At Cellphire, Alex has held responsibilities across different departments such as business development, purchasing, accounting, logistics, and inventory management. Previously Alex worked at FedBid, Inc. where he gained valuable experience in government contracting and sourcing that he brought to Cellphire. Alex holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary.
